The plan for mine-sweeping in Chechnya and Ingushetia has resulted in over 2,000 hectares of agricultural lands cleared of explosive devices, Yuga.ru reports.
Specialists of the Southern Military District used Tropa mine-sweeping explosives, creating passages up to 50m long and 1m wide, fully clearIMF any mines. The method allowed them to reduce the time needed for mine-sweeping and increase the area covered by 30%.
