If the poisoning of the Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat did take place, Israel was not involved in it, Energy Minister of Israel Silvan Shalom said
"Perhaps someone from the circle of Arafat had the intention or interest to do it," Shalom suggested.
As previously reported by Vestnik Kavkaza, the widow of Arafat, Suha Arafat had recently revealed that according to results of the examination of Arafat's body, her husband's death was caused by polonium poisoning and not by natural causes as thought previously.
