Georgian election highlights democratic progress

Georgian Parliamentary Speaker David Usupashvili has recently met with Lithuanian President Dalia Grybauskaitė and Foreign Minister Linas Antanas Linkevičius.

The Lithuanian foreign minister stressed that Georgia is among the leaders of the Eastern Partnership from the point of view of democratic development. According to Linkevičius the recent presidential elections have shown that Georgia is committed to the idea of democracy and ready to continue its progress.
