Israeli PM says Western nations shouldn't compromise with Iran

Israeli Prime Minister Benyamin Netanyahu warns Western nations against what he calls a "bad" deal with Iran and promises to do his best to prevent it, world media report on Sunday.

The Israeli prime minister says Western countries shouldn't compromise with Iran and condemns propositions voiced at international talks in Geneva.

The foreign ministers of the 5+1 group (the USA, the UK, France, Russia, China and Germany) are now in Geneva in order to discuss the Iranian nuclear project with the Islamic Republic's Foreign Ministe, Mohammad Javad Zarif.

Iran suggests that the Western nations should lift sanctions imposed on Iran, which will in exchange suspend enriching uranium up to 20 percent. No agreement has been reached so far.

"I told them that, according to the information available to Israel, such a deal would be very dangerous, not only for us but for them as well," Netanyahu is quoted as saying.
