Russian President Vladimir Putin and his Syrian counterpart Bashar al-Assad during a phone conversation today discussed the preparation for the second round of the Geneva talks devoted to the Syrian crisis.
The Russian president hailed the al-Assad administration's desire to take part in the international conference and stressed that Russia is doing its best for the talks to be successful.
