Armenia passed over the chairmanship of the CE Ministerial Committee to Austria yesterday, Trend reports.
Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian congratulated Michael Spindelegger, Vice Chancellor and Foreign Minister of Austria, and assured that Armenia will assist Austria during its chairmanship.
Nalbandian presented a reports and a roundup of six months as the chairman at the CE Ministerial Council. He noted that Armenia had actively been cooperating with the Council of Europe, secretary general, secretariat, Parliamentary Assembly, European Court of Human Rights, commissioner for human rights, Congress of Local and Regional Authorities.
