Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili rounded up his achievements in fighting corruption last night. He called for combating corruption, simplification of bureaucratic procedures and services to make the life of the population easier, News Georgia reports.
The outgoing president reminded that, according to the World Bank, Georgia had become the top reforming state with the lowest corruption risks.
Saakashvili emphasized that functionaries should not be allowed to return to the corrupt system they had been enjoying in the past.
