The government of Switzerland has approved the new sanctions against Iran, Trend reports, citing the Swiss telegraph agency ATS.
The decision is somewhat of a formality, as Switzerland had been following the UN Security Council resolution previously. 36 Iranian citizens have been refused Swiss visas since June. The finances of 40 Iranian enterprises and one individual on Swiss accounts were frozen.
1.5 billion francs belonging to Iran were frozen.
