Israel denies responsibility for Beirut blasts

Israel was not responsible for two blasts in Beirut, said Tzachi Hanegbi, Chairman of the Knesset Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee, Gazeta.ru reports.

The Abdulla Azzam Shaheed Brigade, an organization linked to Al Qaeda, took responsibility for the terrorist attack. 23 people were killed and 146 injured by the two blasts. Iran accused Israel of being behind the blasts.
