Some states refuse to destroy Syrian chemical weapons on their territory. The US proposed burning precursors of the chemical weapons in five furnaces on a ship. The process will take a maximum of 60 days. Washington plans to use only the Air Forces and the Navy for the process and will not send any chemists in, RIA Novosti reports.
Another method of getting rid of the chemical weapons is to mix precursors with water and other substances and heat them. The process will take a maximum of 10 days.
