Igor Ivanov, Russian ex-Minister of Foreign Affairs, Madeleine Albright, US ex-Secretary of State, wrote an article in Foreign Policy, urging Presidents Vladimir Putin and Barack Obama to renew the highest-level bilateral talks, Gazeta.ru reports.
Ivanov and Albright noted that Russia and the US could not solve problems such as the Syrian crisis and the Iranian nuclear program on their own. Cooperating would both benefit the Middle East and the bilateral relations of Russia and the US.
