Expert says Iranian nuclear deal shouldn't be overestimated

The main political event of the weekend is the nuclear deal signed by world major powers with Iran in Geneva today.  Vestnik Kavkaza discussed the situation surrounding the controversial agreement with the head of the Social and Political Research Centre, Vladimir Yevseyev.

According to the expert, the document shouldn't be overestimated.

"This agreement is important, but it's not a final solution. Such a solution has been postponed," he says.

Iran has not pursue the international community to lift the sanctions imposed on the Iranian oil industry and banking spheres, Yevseyev stresses. At the same time, the 5+1 group hasn't managed to to pursue Iran to make a substantial compromise, he says.

That is why the expert believes there is no breakthrough in the process, only a temporary success.
