Two men were killed near the village of Kendelen in Kabardino-Balkaria. At midnight four armed men in camouflage and masks approached six locals who were relaxing. They shot two men, including a police officer, and rode away using the locals' cars. The policeman and the other man died at the scene. An investigation has been started.
