Iran and Turkey are going to pursue a ceasefire in Syria, Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif said today after meeting with his Turkish counterpart Ahmet Davutoglu.
According to the Iranian official, the two nations want the Syrian authorities and the rebels to sign a ceasefire agreement before the second round of the Geneva talks, which is expected to be held on January 22.
