Turkish opposition accuses government of illegal wiretapping of journalists

The leader of the Turkish opposition Republican People’s Party (CHP), Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, has accused the government of illegally wiretapping journalists’ phones through the National Intelligence Organization, Hürriyet Daily News reports on Wednesday.

 

The Turkish government was not respecting the country's laws and such incidents were acts of dictatorial regimes, Kılıçdaroğlu is quoted as saying while addressing his party's parliamentary faction yesterday.
