Russian president orders organizers of terrorist attack in Pyatigorsk to be punished

The organizers of the terrorist attack in Pyatigorsk must be revealed and punished, or killed if they resist, Russian President Dmitry Medvedev said at a meeting with representatives of the law-enforcement agencies and public on the new police bill, RIA Novosti reports.


The Interior Minister, Rashid Nurgaliyev, reported about the investigation into the incident. On August 17th a mined vehicle parked near a café exploded, injuring 30 people in the capital of the North Caucasus Federal District.


The meeting was originally planned to be held in Stavropol, but changes were made after the terrorist attack. Medvedev had proposed a similar meeting in Mari El.
