Syrian Prime Minister Wael al-Halqi has arrived in the Iranian capital of Tehran in order to discuss regional issues, including the ongoing Syrian crisis, with Iran's top officials, Press TV reports.
The prime minister’s visit to Iran comes ahead of a January 22, 2014, international meeting in Geneva, Switzerland, which aims to address the crisis in Syria.
