Plokhoy named head of Russian Presidential Anti-Corruption Directorate

Russian President Vladimir Putin has appointed Oleg Plokhoy as the Head of the Directorate for Corruption Prevention at the Presidential Administration. The newly formed structure will develop initiatives to combat corruption among state authorities, local autonomies. It will settle conflicts of interests, assist the Presidential Council for Corruption Prevention and its presidium, as well as stimulate interaction of the president and head of presidential envoys to federal districts.
