Georgian president compares barbed wire in South Ossetia with Berlin Wall

Georgian President Georgy Margvelashvili said that the simplification of the visa regime after signing of the EU association agreement in Vilnius was also in force in Abkhazia and South Ossetia, News Georgia reports.He believes that the barbed wire laid on the border of Georgia and South Ossetia was used to prevent relations between residents of both sides. The president compared the barbed wire with the Berlin Wall and noted that it will inevitably fall sooner or later.
