Ingush Leader Yunus-Bek Yevkurov has appointed 61-year old Daut Yandiyev, a Vice Prime Minister who specializes in agricultural affairs, as the Minister for Agriculture.
Yandiyev’s predecessor Ruslan Kostoyev has resigned. Yevkurov thanked Kostoyev for the work and noted that the fleet of agricultural vehicles had been modernized by almost 100%.
Yevkurov told Yandiyev that the main goal was to develop efficient methods of payments for lease and to determine the 10 key trends in development of agriculture. Regional programs will be composed for development of agriculture in 2014.
