Moscow hopes to restore diplomatic ties with Georgia

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said in Brussels after a session of the Russia-NATO Council that Moscow hoped to restore diplomatic relations with Georgia, RIA Novosti reports.He reminded that trade-economic, cultural, humanitarian, art and scientific ties with Georgia were developing.The new Georgian government said after the parliamentary polls of October 1, 2012, that normalization of relations with Russia was a priority for Georgian foreign policy.
