Russia to help Syria with chemical weapon destruction equipment

Russia will send equipment to Syria to help destroy chemical weapons, said Russia's envoy to UN, Vitaly Churkin, ITAR-TASS reports.UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon said in a letter to the Security Council that Syria was in dire need of technical means of destroying chemical weapons.
