Former head of the Kabardino-Balkarian republic Arsen Kanokov, who has recently offered his resignation to Russian President Vladimir Putin, will continue state service in Moscow.
Kanokov will work in some federal body, it is possible that he will become a senator, RIA Novosti cites Presidential Envoy to the North Caucasus federal District Alexander Khloponin as saying.
