Two observer missions of Council of Europe at Azerbaijani parliamentary elections

 

Two observer missions have been designated by the Council of Europe to the parliamentary elections that are taking place on the 7th of November in Azerbaijan. A long-term mission is to arrive in Azerbaijan in October to observe the pre-election situation. A short-term mission is to arrive several days before the elections. The election campaign in Azerbaijan will start at the beginning of September, 60 days before the polling.
