Badr Jamus, Secretary General of the National Coalition for Syrian Revolutionary and Opposition Forces, said that a delegation of his organization will visit Moscow no sooner than on December 20, when officials of Russia, US and UN will meet in Geneva to discuss preparations for the conference on Syria, RIA Novosti reports.
Jamus noted that he had met Russian officials in Geneva and maintained contacts with Russian diplomats in Istanbul.
The Geneva-2 Conference will be held on January 22, 2014. Deputy foreign ministers of Russia and the US and Special Envoy of the UN for Syria Lakhdar Brahimi will meet on December 20.
Russia invited the Syrian government and rebels to meet in Moscow. The National Coalition accepted, but its Head Ahmad Jarba could not arrive.
