Georgian President Georgy Margvelashvili has appointed 7 new ambassadors: Zurab Beridze to Bulgaria, Constantine Zhgenti to Uzbekistan, Vladimir Chanturia to Germany, Levan Tsintsadze to Japan, David Aptsiauri to China, Joseb Chakhvashvili to Iran and Ggirol Tabatadze to Jordan, Trend reports.The president used to name ambassadors after consulting the parliament. Amendments to the law on diplomatic service came into force on November 17. The parliament is no longer involved in the procedure.
