Dagestani President Ramazan Abdulatipov has honored Constantine Ernst, Director General of Channel One, RIA Dagestan reports.
Izumrud Mugutdinov, Dagestani Deputy Envoy to the Russian President, Shumi Shabatayev, a member of the Dagestani Public Chamber and Dagestani president’s authorized delegate, Zaur Askanderov, a member of the lower chamber of the Russian parliament, were present at the ceremony.
Abdulatipov and Ernst discussed socio-political problems, education and culture, cooperation in mass media, improvement of media efficiency to cover political, socio-economic and cultural affairs.
Ernst received a medal for promotion and popularization of Rasul Gamzatov’s works. The medal was made by the International Public Fund of Rasul Gamzatov.
