The Deputy Defense Minister of Georgia, Mikhail Darchiashvili, has met with a member of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the House of Representatives, Congressman Ted Deutsch, and a member of the U.S. delegation to the NATO Parliamentary Assembly, Congressman John Shimkus, during his visit to the United States.
Darchiashvili presented the security situation in Georgia and in the region to the U.S side.
The sides discussed prospects for Georgia's entry into NATO and the EU .
