The founding treaty of the Eurasian Economic Union will be reviewed and ratified by the State Duma as soon as possible, the head of the Duma committee on CIS affairs, Eurasian Integration and Relations with Compatriots Leonid Slutsky said today.
As reported earlier by Vestnik Kavkaza, Russian President Vladimir Putin in his address to the Federal Assembly asked the Russian parliament to deal with the Treaty on the Eurasian Economic Union as a priority issue.
Slutsky said that the parliament is already actively working not only on the treaty, but also on the "road maps" on the further expansion of the Eurasian project.
