Denmark, Norway to provide 3 ships to destroy Syrian chemical weapons

Michael Jensen, spokesman of the Danish Naval Forces said that Denmark will provide the Ark Futura dry-cargo vessel and Esbern Snare frigate for destruction of Syrian chemical weapons on December 19, Interfax reports.Spokesman of the Norwegian military Eskil Sivertsen said that Norway will provide the Helge Ingstad frigate. It will not need parliamentary approval to dispatch the ship.Syrian chemical weapons will be moved from the Latakia Port in Syria to neutral waters and then to a US ship.
