Day of silence announced in Turkmenistan on the eve of election

Today a day of silence has been announced in Turkmenistan on the eve of election to the Majlis (parliament). All campaigning has been stopped in the country in accordance with the electoral law. All the polling stations are ready for the election. 

Tomorrow 125 MPs are to be elected to the Majlis in Turkmenistan. The vote will take place from 7:00 to 19:00 at 2,446 polling stations in Turkmenistan and 33 more polling stations abroad.
