The Government of Ukraine stated that it is determined to continue negotiations with the EU on the Association Agreement, the press service of the Prime Minister of Ukraine reports.
Kiev intends to consider only the official statement on the agreement, a spokesman for Prime Minister of Ukraine, Vitaliy Lukyanenko said.
Swedish Foreign Minister Carl Bildt said today that Ukraine can sign the association agreement and trade agreement with the EU anytime.
"The doors are wide open for Ukraine to sign an agreement on association and free trade with the EU. It is ready. Anytime," Bildt wrote in his microblog on Twitter.
Earlier today the European Commissioner Stefan Fuele said that the EU intends to suspend work on an agreement with Ukraine on the Association.
