Russian Envoy to the UN Vitaly Churkin said at the UN Security Council that there were no arguments proving Syrian rebels had not used chemical weapons, RIA Novosti reports.
A report on chemical weapons in Syria was made under the supervision of Ake Salstrom (Switzerland) and was presented by UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon yesterday. The document says that 5 out of 7 chemical attacks were proven.
Churkin reminded that, according to Russian experts, improvised sarin was used in Aleppo on March 19. Malstrom noted that higher-quality of sarin used in Gut on August 21, Churkin says.
