EU Chief Diplomat Catherine Ashton has met Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Abbas Arakchi today and will discuss fulfillment of the Geneva agreements sign between Iran and six mediators (US, Russia, China, UK, France, Germany) in November, RIA Novosti reports.
Ashton said that talks will continue tomorrow morning. She added that Helga Schmid, Deputy Secretary General for the External Action Service, will take part in the talks. Schmid will arrive in Vienna today to discuss the problem with the IAEA.
According to the Geneva agreements, Iran will reduce uranium enrichment in exchange for gradual ease of international sanctions.
