Foreign students in Russia to learn Pushkin’s verses

Foreigners willing to study at Russian higher education centers and colleges will need to read 140 syllables a minute, have a vocabulary of at least 2,300 words and learn 3-5 verses of Alexander Pushkin and Mikhail Lermontov by heart, RIA Novosti reports.They will also need to know about Russian regions, economy, history, culture, notable cultural and scientific figures.The education program to teach foreigners all they need to know to study in Russian higher education centers will take 52 weeks (38 weeks of lectures, 4 weeks of exams, 10 weeks of holidays).
