Huseyin Celik, Deputy Head of the Justice and Development Party, has commented on reports about sons of some ministers of Turkey being detained on drug trafficking charges. He said that efforts to fight corruption were still one of the priority goals.
Kemal Kilicdaroglu, Head of the Republican People’s Party, said that the party will monitor the investigation. Vice President of the party Gursel Tekin urged the ministers whose sons were involved in the investigation to resign.
