Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said at the Federation Council that Russia was not ready to adopt a visa-free regime with Georgia, Interfax reports.
The two states adopted a visa regime in 2000. Georgia lifted the visa regime in 2012, Russia simplified it the regime for Georgia by allowing Georgians to visit relatives and organize youth and cultural exchanges.
