Last night unidentified perpetrators attacked a police checkpoint in the village of Sredniye Achaluki, Interfax reports.
The incident occurred at 01.30 Moscow Time. The attackers opened automatic gunfire and threw several grenades, however no injuries have been reported.
The attackers fled the crime scene. The case is being investigated.
