Russia will react to European missile shield threat – Putin

Russian President Vladimir Putin said during his live Q&A conference that the European missile shield was a threat to Russia. The deployment of Iskander missile systems in the Kaliningrad Region was one of the measures taken to counterbalance the threat, the president explained. Putin emphasized that “no one should be protected, just as no one should be provoked into defensive actions.”
