Georgia blocked the declaration on the non-use of force in Trans-Caucasus at the Geneva talks yesterday, RIA Novosti reports.
Abkhazia, Georgia and South Ossetia agreed in 2010 to abstain from using force against each other.Abkhazia, Georgia, South Ossetia, Russia, US, EU, UN and the OSCE took part in the latest round of talks on security and the stability of Trans-Caucasus. Co-chairs of the talks took the responsibility to find a compromising solution for the next meeting in March 2014.
The situation in Abkhazia, South Ossetia and Georgia has been stable in the past months. Representatives of the two breakaway republics said that Georgia was encouraging crime at some areas of the borderline.
