Former Yukos CEO Mikhail Khodorkovsky has filed a pardon petition, which will soon be granted, Russian President Vladimir Putin said today.
Khodorkovsky's lawyer claims that his client had not filed the petition, noting that the president can pardon anyone without a written request.
