Georgian government forms State Security Council

The Georgian government has formed the State Council for Security and Crisis Management headed by Vice-Colonel Mindia Janelidze, Head of the Counter-Espionage Department of the Interior Ministry, Interfax reports.The Council will be under be chaired by the prime minister and stay under his full control. Ministers of interior and foreign affairs, defense and finances will be part of the Council.
