Russia denied that it had blocked the UN Security Council declaration criticizing attacks by the Syrian Air Forces in Aleppo, RIA Novosti reports.
Russian diplomats note that Russia wanted adjustments in the document to make it more balanced, but the US declined the amendments.
The document was to condemn Syrian authorities for carrying out air strikes in Aleppo on December 15 and 18. Over 100 people, including many children, were killed in the attacks.
