2014 named Youth Year in Georgia

Georgian Prime Minister Irakly Garibashvili said at the fifth forum of youth organizations that 2014 will be the Year of Youth, Trend reports.He expressed surprise that the country had 160 youth organizations. The PM noted that the government should focus on encouraging young people to engage in sports and other daily activities.Garibashvili said that young people were a resource for democratic development of the country.The forum was organized at the Expo Georgia Center by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports and the Academy for Peace and Development to activate dialogue between young groups.
