Tbilisi mayor suspended over corruption probe

A court in Georgia has recently decided to suspend Tbilisi Mayor Gigi Ugulava due to an ongoing corruption probe. The official is accused of embezzlement. He allegedly spent city funds on the opposition United National Movement party.

Ugulava says he has not been officially informed about the court's decision yet.
