Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Abbas Arakchi said that Iran and six mediators (US, Russia, China, UK, France, Germany) will have expert talks in Geneva in late December, RIA Novosti reports.
The meeting was initiated after Arakchi’s talk with EU Chief Diplomat Catherine Ashton on Sunday.
The previous round of talks ended on Sunday. Arakchi noted that little progress had been achieved at the meeting.
Iran and the six mediators headed by Ashton signed preliminary agreements in Geneva in late November. Iran will reduce uranium enrichment in exchange for an easing of sanctions.
