The Ukrainian foreign ministry has no right to prohibit former Georgian president Mikheil Saakashvili from visiting Ukraine, Foreign Minister Leonid Kozhara says.
The remarks were made in response to a initiative suggested by one Ukrainian lawmaker. A member of parliament suggested today that Saakashvili, who attended an opposition rally on Kyiv's Independence Square and endorsed activists demanding the resignation of President Viktor Yanukovych and the government headed by Mykola Azarov, be declared persona non grata.
