Tashkent (Uzbekistan) has opened a session of the SCO Regional Anti-Terrorist Group (RATS) today to discuss exchange of information on combating terrorism, separatism and extremism, Trend reports.
Kazakhstan, China, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan took part in the talks. Besides terrorism, separatism and extremism, the sides discussed security at the Olympic and Paralympic Games of Sochi.
The SCO consists of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, China, Russia, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan. Afghanistan, India, Iran, Mongolia and Pakistan are the observers of the organization. Belarus, Turkey and Sri Lanka are the dialogue partners of the SCO.
