Russia ratifies agreement on joint air defenses with Kazakhstan

Russia has ratified the agreement signed Kazakhstan in Astana on January 30, 2013, to form joint regional air defenses, Rossiyskaya Gazeta reports.

According to the document, pilots of Russia and Kazakhstan will cross the border of the two countries without need for political decisions.

Russian and Kazakh presidents will appoint a defense minister to command the joint missile defenses. The command of the defenses will be headquartered in Almaty.
