Russian analyst Serenko explains Volgograd blasts

Andrey Serenko, coordinator of the Volgograd Club of Experts, said that the recent blasts in Volgograd were proof that the local security system was the weakest in Russia. He noted that low professionalism made the city an easy target for terrorist attacks.

Serenko emphasized that only law enforcers could change the situation. He added that nothing could be done by the authorities, political parties or public organizations.

The experts said that the events were cynical, circumspect and well-planned special operations organized by very evil, yet clever, people. Serenko concluded that blasts will continue, unless law enforcers start trying to predict the logic and actions of terrorists.
